I love your website! I have been to wonderful Sweden 12 times and how I LOVE Sweden! My parents are from there, and moved to USA 52 years ago before I was born. Could never understand why they did not go back to live and only visit. |

I enjoyed looking at your photographs of the Lake Bolmen area. My grandfather on my father's side of the family came to the United States in 1902. He was born in Bolmen, the largest island in the Lake. I have been to Sweden once, but we only had time to visit Stockholm. I am looking forward to seeing in person the scenes in your photos. Thank you for posting them. |

Hi Uwe, I was looking for pictures of colourful fish and found your site. I saw your pictures of the sea. They were very interesting and your English is fine. I understood it all. I love to swim in the sea too, but now I live hundreds of km from the sea so sometimes feel very sorry for myself. Have fun diving. Jo |

Danke for your wonderful pictures and story about your visit to Sweden, and your stay with the Anderssons! I enjoyed it very much. I went to Sweden (and much of Scandanavia) as a teenager, along with a student exchange group. The tour was so great, I hope I can go back again someday, and take my own "kinder" with me! I was too young back then to really appreciate the beauty of the lands and the people. I long to go again someday. For now, the Internet travelling is all I can do, and your photos are wonderful to see-- sehr gut! Keep posting up more of your travels! |

hej I'm writting from København from a friends computer. I lived here in Danmark years ago, while i was here I found some information on my great grand father and his origins. On Lake Bolmen, in the town of Bolmen he was the head Station Master. Now of coarse this is 100 years ago, but my hope is to come ot Sweden on Saturday and look around. I have found out there is no longer a train line there, but in his day he was the one that laid out all the train lines for the area around southern Sweden, some of his children moved to Lynby, and Vaxjo. If you can help steer me at all in the correct direction to perhaps see the station, or find a relative it would be greatly appreciated. Mange Tak For det, Doug Boyce |
